The korean coloratura soprano Hana Lee studied singing at Ewha Women's University in Seoul and at the Academy of Music in Freiburg. In 2010 she won the special prize of the 29th International Hans Gabor Belvedere Singing Competition/Vienna.
Since 2009 Hana Lee is member of the ensemble of Theater Koblenz, where she acted as Queen of the Night (The Magic Flute), Olympia (The Tales of Hoffmann), Adele (Die Fledermaus), Blonde (The Abduction from the Seraglio), Ännchen (Der Freischütz), Marzelline (Fidelio) and Donna Anna (Don Giovanni).
She had guest engagements as "Queen of the Night" from Mozart's "Magic Flute" at theaters in Erfurt, Chemnitz and Bonn. She also participated in contemporary operas, such as Natascha (Drei Schwestern), Der Kleine (Der goldene Drache), Orsina (Emilia Galotti), Felicie (Les Boulingrin), Lea (Glare) and Sophie Scholl (Weiße Rose).
